The 22nd Bribie Island Classic Boat Regatta 

SAT 17th and SUN 18th October 2020.

REGISTRATION RE-OPENS AUGUST 3rd  

  For over 20 years, Bribie Islanders  have enjoyed witnessing Classic Boats, large and small, flocking into the Pumicestone Passage for a weekend of Messing about in Boats – general fun on our fantastic waterway. The boats are accessible to the public for free at certain times during the weekend.

  • The boats visit Toorbul beach at midday Saturday.
  • Visit Pacific Harbour 3pm Saturday.
  • On Sunday assemble at  Pacific Harbour Marina for a  GRAND PARADE to VMR Bribie Pontoon for a sail past at 10.am.
  • From 10.00 am owners proudly display their boats to the public while undertaking some simple boating activities at Sylvan Beach.

   Entry is open to all old and new classic and timber boat owners. Come along for a great weekend. A free night  at Pacific Harbour Marina is available for participants (Sat.) and discounted berthing rates for extra nights. Insurance currency for boat is required. There’s a free lunch on Saturday on the beach at Toorbul supported by the Bribie Island Mahalo Outrigger Canoe Club  and the Bribie Island Sailing Club and is provided courtesy of the Moreton Bay Regional Council. For those returning to the Spinnaker Sound ramp on Saturday it’s a pleasant trip after lunch from Toorbul. Those arriving by sea please note the Bribie Island Bridge air draft.

Bribie Island Vietnam Vets present a cooked  breakfast both mornings and put on a great afternoon tea at Pacific Harbour on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday they provide lunch. The Bribie Island Hotel supports Friday evening Meet & Greet Friday night. Nautilus Marine Insurance – prizes are provided by from our sponsors who also provide generous financial assistance. Assistance is gratefully received from MBRIT and Moreton Bay Regional Council. Perpetual Trophies are donated by Regatta Marine and Wise Boat building.
