This year please ORDER your annual plaque when you register your entry.

Most of you expect and cherish the plaque. However as we always have a few left over we feel that is a waste.

We have reduced the ENTRY FEE accordingly

PHOTO When registering please provide a photo and information on your boat.

Last year we published a list and photo of all REGISTRANTS . It was popular so we will do this again.

Friday night Meet and Greet

Will again be from 5.30 -7.30 pm at Charlie’s Restaurant, Bribie Island Hotel.

Launching boats/Parking on Saturday and Sunday.

The Bribie Island Vietnam Vets Association will as usual be providing breakfast at the Spinnaker Sound Ramp both mornings.

Over the past few years there has been congestion on the launching ramps and nearby parking. To help this, last year we encouraged you to consider launching across the Pumicestone Passage at the pontoon ramps at Sylvan Beach, Bribie Island. After launching if desired, you may cross the passage to meet everyone at breakfast.

The Bribie Island Vietnam Vets Association will as usual be providing breakfast at the Spinnaker Sound Ramp both mornings.

PLEASE NOTE – The Sylvan Beach ramps are affected by tides and weather so your decision should be made each day.

Lunch at Toorbul

The lunch will again be prepared and presented by the BRIBIE ISLAND MAHALO OUTRIGGER CANOE CLUB. It is provided free by our Sponsors.

This year there’s a Polynesian theme, a UKELELE ORCHESTRA performs. Each boat Crew is encouraged to have their photo taken at a themed booth.

Saturday afternoon.

The Bribie Island Vietnam Vets Association provide afternoon tea as usual .

Free berths at Pacific Harbour Marina are again provided . (An insurance certificate of currency must be provided to stay in the marina) BRIBIE ISLAND SAILING CLUB will assist your docking. Please use VHF 77 to communicate with the helpers.

Saturday evening

Bribie Island Hotel failed for the second year to send their bus to Pacific Harbour Marina and made poor arrangements for dinner.

We have booked the hall at Volunteer Marine Rescue Bribie Island, Marine Parade, next to the Bribie Island Boating Clubs compound.

It is an excellent venue offering great views of the sunset and can accommodate over 70 people when seated . The meal on Saturday night will be catered and the bar open with drinks substantially cheaper than the hotel.

We have transport to and from Pacific Harbour Marina and VMR Bribie. Those anchored in the Passage have an easy walk to VMR.

Because of catering please book your meal when registering and pay before the published closing date .

SHOPPING Supporting your Regatta . When registering please consider purchasing

Because some of the larger cruisers need the afternoon to return to their moorings in Brisbane we moved events forward on last year’s program. It was not enough and the FINAL PARADE was again a non event.

Sunday will BEGIN with a GRAND PARADE.

Please launch and proceed to PACIFIC HARBOUR MARINA by 9.15am. Boats berthed at the marina please join in.

Cruise canals until VMR BRIBIE RESCUE leads the flotilla on the GRAND PARADE. Any late boats may join the parade at any point. The whole parade should arrive at the VMR pontoon at Marine Parade for a port side SAIL PAST/ SALUTE arriving Sylvan Beach a few minutes later, around 10am.

The GRAND PARADE will be publicised widely so you should have plenty of interest in your pride and joy.
